If location alone could get 5 stars, then the Tower would get 5 stars. However... Our suite was a bit tired, with stains on the carpet, cabinets missing handles and hinges, and other things that many people wouldn't notice. The thing EVERYONE will notice is the shower it was on a 5-second cycle of hot-warm-cold-icy. So every 5 seconds you get blasted with icy cold water. Every time we took showers this was the case, and we were there for 3 nights. Additionally, there is no ice machine, so if you want ice in your room you have to call room service for it. And room service didn't usually answer the phone, so we ended up calling the concierge most of the time for ice. Sometimes we didn't get it at all. Do NOT recommend! I wouldn't stay here again. Extremely reasonable prices for area and right on the river so must everything is walking distance. For attractions further away just learn the tube and it's easy as there's a station less than five minutes walk from hotel.
